HONG KONG DAY 2 LAN KWAI FONG & DAY 3

Previous days: Day 1 Part 1Day 1 Part 2Day 2

Oh yes. I forgot to add the Partying part at Lan Kwai Fong during Day 2. I forgot what time we were back at the hotel. But we all decided to shower & change since we were all sweaty and sticky. After everything, we met in the lobby and I actually thought that I was over dress among the ladies because they all wore top & shorts -.-  Our plan was to chill but then I decided to wear a dress cause you do know that there's always last minute changes. Hahaha.

OOTD for the night.

I really had no idea that Lan Kwai Fong was so small!!! It was just a U shaped but it was definitely crowded with people. There were ALOT of bars. 1 whole streets of bars. We decided not to go to bars since it was sooo crowded so we just randomly went to any club that interest us. We went to 7th Heaven. It was already 12plus when we got there. And it really does not have any crowds. Crowds only started to come after 1am. I guess that's where the people drank finish at the bars and came up to partyyyy!

Certainly, partying with friends & couples are soooo different. Because couples have to stick to their own partner while friends can just don't stick to 1 person. Hahahaha. So I promise myself that I won't go travelling with boyfriends if I wanna explore the club except for Thailand. Lol. The 2 ladies got high while I'm the only one that didn't. Had fun but not so much fun without my gfs. Hehe. Ended the party around 3 or 4am and then head to the nearest Cha Chan Teng for supper and then went back to the hotel to rest since we still had to get up in the morning for Day 3 plan T.T

DAY 3

We all had a hard time getting up since we barely slept a few hours only. And its been quite tiring from the day I arrive at Hong Kong. Tsk.

OOTD! FU_K Tee, Demin Shorts & Leggings I bought from Ladies Market!

We took the MTR to 太子 (Tai Zi) since we are heading to 一點心 (Yi Dian Xin)! Because Chek & Winnie keep recommending the dim sum from there. Keep saying that its a MUST TRY. And before heading to HK, I did try to research the reviews but then I just couldn't find T.T  So I just went with a very high expectation. Hahahahah.

Shag faces because we are all deprive of sleep. And my makeup is always at its best during the morning. Lolol.

I forgot which exit we exited to since its morning & deprived of sleep. So I just follow without jotting down the directions. We were there before it even opens. But just like Tim Ho Wan, it already has queue before it even opens. We still have to wait around 20-30mins before it opens. And when its near to opening, I started to see more and more people coming and queuing infront of us -.-

Apparently, they actually ask someone to queue first and then the rest just come late. Our thinking is 'Walao. Why getting more and more people? Later we not the first batch to go in how? Oh my gosh" So we keep pray and pray that we will be among the first batch to go in. And tada! We did it. Hahahahah

When queuing, we were given menu to choose so that we don't have to wait long for the food.

The inside. The place is actually quite small.

Highly recommended by the Married Couple.
Chee Cheong Fan w. You Tiao
I have never try this kind of Chee Cheong Fan before. All along I only tried before Char Siew, Prawns & Scallops only. But oh boy! This is soooo good. The skin was soft and chewy and I actually expect the You Tiao to be a little soft. BUT, the You Tiao was still crispy! Oh my. Oh my. The skin was definitely better than what I had at Tim Ho Wan.

Deep Fried Beancurd Skin w. Prawn Fillings
Very crispy. I like it how things were make/fried on the spot. You can taste the freshness. Hahahaha. I sounds so professional.

Chee Cheong Fan (Vermicelli Roll) w. BBQ Pork

Chee Cheong Fan (Vermicelli Roll) w. Prawn
Both the BBQ pork & prawns were sooo good. Skin taste amazing. I just don't really like the BBQ pork is before they also put the Chinese Parsley T.T

BBQ Pork (Char Siew) Bao
My boy is a fan of  BBQ Pork (Char Siew) Bao and he can't stop praising the bao. Can you imagine how much he love the bao? Lolol

Prawn Dumpling (Har Kau)
Much better than Tim Ho Wan. Haha

Pork Ribs w. Black Bean

Chicken Feet

Siew Mai
Better than Tim Ho Wan

Century Egg Congee
This time I was smart not to order the congee. Just taste a mouth from the others can already. Cause I know I can't finish the congee with all the delicious food infront of me. Hahahaha. But it wasn't that bad. I think both Tim Ho Wan and here also nice.

Deep Fried Popiah
Was just a traditional Deep Fried Popiah. I preferred the one at Tim Ho Wan though. Hehe.

I forgot what's the name for this. This is similar to Tim Ho Wan's Baked Bun with BBQ pork. But the BBQ Pork here is soooo much better than Tim Ho Wan. Johnson who is already a fan of the Baked Bun with BBQ pork cannot stop complimenting about this Bun. He keep saying "If the fillings of the baked bun is this bbq pork, it will be the more awesome baked bun ever." Lolol. But I do agree with it. Plus the fillings inside is sooo much! Totally love.

Spot the BBQ Pork. Looks very awesome isn't it?

Overall, its definitely cheaper and nicer than Tim Ho Wan. Will definitely comeback again!

After that, we took the MTR to Tung Chung to head to Citygate Mall & Ngong Ping 360. When we wanted to go to the cable car, I literally cried because I was so scared!!!! I could see the distance from far end eventually got really frightened and I decided not to go ahead and very sweet of my bf, he also came with me because he doesn't wants to leave me alone.

So we just walk around Citygate and decided to catch a movie since we had all the time. We decided to watch Special ID since there's not much of movie during the timing we want. I like watching movies/dramas with their original voice rather than the dub voice. Totally dislike but since in SG, we didn't have a choice, so we just go ahead with it. The price is definitely almost the same as SG. Expensive.

After that, Chek & Winnie brought us to a place to have Gui Ling Gao & Dinner!

So this marks the end of Day 3. Hong Kong is very exhausting. Everywhere have stairs & slopes. This really tone up my thighs when in Hong Kong. Stay tune for Day 4 & 5!

WIth love,
Jessalyn
