22nd Birthday: Taiwan Trip Day 1

I'm back to blogging!!! YES! I'm a really really really lazy person. I always like to delay and delay when it comes to uploading photos & blogging. Lol

Anyway, let's get back to topic. My 22nd Birthday Trip to TAIWAN! Yeahhh. Went with Joey, Kevin & my boy. Hehe. It's always nice to travel just 4 person. Anything more than that is a very hassle thing.

Eg. 6 person travel, taking cab is troublesome. Eating at a restaurant also. Or something like that.

But then, that's only my thinking. No offense to any of the people that likes to travel in groups.

Anyway, I book my tickets thru FlyScoot. Flight leaving from Singapore is suppose to be 12plus Midnight. But the plane only fly around 1plus. Yes. It was delayed while I was in the plane. Apparently, I heard that FlyScoot always likes to delay or cancel their flights. Thank god mine wasn't cancelled but was delayed.

When I reached Taoyuan Airport. It was really really early in the morning. The sun was hot but it wasn't as hot as Singapore. We were really clueless since we are heading to TaiChung 台中 first thing when in Taiwan. After asking around, we bought the bus tickets to the bullet train station or something. Forgot how much was the tickets but it was really worth it. Will tak about it later.

Reached the train station and since we all were really hungry. We had to buy something first to fill in a little bit of our stomach. And we headed to 7-Eleven! This is my first time to Taiwan. So I had not idea how cool their 7-Eleven was!

They trust each other to make your own burger on the spot. Only people looking at you making it is the people working at the cashier -.-

Look! They even had the calories thingy stated.

They had so MANY different types of Teas & Milk. I had to think and think of what to drink and choose this!

I had a thing for Papaya Milk and I didn't saw this at Singapore at all. But Joey told me it has. So when I came back from SG and went to 7-Eleven and saw this, I was like "WTH Why so small packet?" Lol

Settle this for "Breakfast"!

This was me & my boy's bill for 7-Eleven. It was actually 6.80 SGD!

Bought the Bullet Train tickets to TaiChung 台中. And the tickets is about $20+ SGD per person! OMFG. Freaking expensive to the max. At least it will be the 1 and only time I'll be taking.

Ask the silly boy to pose while in the Bullet Train. Cause we were all complaining that we were paying 20+ to stand. Ended up during the last 2nd stops, we all got a seat. Lol

So the bullet train was really fast. No wonder its called "Bullet Train". Fly like a bullet. Once we reached, we had to find a bus to Feng Jia 逢甲 since we will be settling there for 3D2N! So we just had to show the driver our Train Ticket and this shall be considered "Shuttle Bus"! Lol. Took about half an hour to reach.

Once we reach, we had to walk and find our way to the "Aparment Hotel". We went to the wrong apartment which apparently that is the only place that looks like an apartment. The rest just looks like a store house. Lol. We ended up calling the owner and the apartment is actually right at the opposite -.-

We were too early to checked-in. So had to walk around 逢甲 to kill time. The owner say that Feng Jia Ye Shi 逢甲夜市 is divided into 2 sections. 1 is Breakfast place and the rest which is most of it is Night Market. Walk around and its actually nothing much. ALOT of shop that serves Breakfast. And we actually brought back Lunch.

As you can see, the Lunchbox has Egg, Veg & Tou Gan. Veg is so so. But the rest of it is AWESOME! And the grilled one is so muccccch better than the Fried ones. Haha

During the night time, we walk around Feng Jia Ye Shi 逢甲夜市. Since we can't walk finish as the whole place is Feng Jia Ye Shi 逢甲夜市. We had to spend all our nights walk around then can finish. Lol. It's that big!

When in Taiwan, we HAVE to eat their 臭豆腐 Stinky Tofu! Its only 40NT! Which is like only few cents in SGD. Wth. Fucking cheap. Plus its for 2 tofu. Singapore sells $3 for 1 tofu. And the taste and everything taste SOOOO different! Tsk tsk. How to compare.
