Day 1: Bali, 12/02/2014

Woke up at 7am! Omg. Had to wake up so early is cause the driver will be picking us up at 8am. Sigh. It has been a really long time since I woke up this early. We signed up for the Rafting for 150,000rp for 2 person. Which inclusive of pick-up and drop off at hotel, lunch buffet. The agency told us that this is the most fun spot for rafting rather than the one my boy went before.

After preparation, I just had to take a selfie. Lol.

After eating, we waited awhile and the driver came. He told us it will be like 30-45mins journey. We were the first to arrived. And next came a bunch of tourist or something? But we sat on the boat alone with a instructor. Were asked if we wanted photos for like 150,000. I think its super expensive! So we decline the offer.

The rafting is actually quite fun. My boy says that this is better than the one he previously went to. He says here de water level are higher and the rush is more dangerous. Hahahahah. That means its worth trusting the agent's words for it.

There's 2 breaks. 1 long break & 1 short one since there's a short clift. Haha There's also other people who went to different company but was rafting the same area. The last stop was a 5km height thing and we had to jump with the boat. What I mean is the boat go down the slope/clift, we sit/lie on the boat. Haha. I was really scare since I had a fear of heights and I even bit on my lips while we went down. Due to the impact, my lips bleed a little but was fine the next day. Lol.

We were told the rafting ended after the clift thingy which is like in the middle and the people behind us were wondering why are we stopping halfway? Haha. We were told to climb the stairs up. So I thought it will be like a few stairs. And ended up? SO MANY STAIRS where the height of each steps are so different! By the time I reach the place to shower & have lunch, I'm panting and my legs are like shaking. Lol. I swear its that tiring (for someone who rarely exercise). I think I'm climbing up like I did at Bukit Timah Hill. Hahahaha.

The lunch buffet was ...... Nothing much to say. That's why I don't even bother to take any pictures. It just has Rice, Noodles, 1 Meat & Vegetables.

After eating, I still had to climb stairs up to the car. Omfg. I literally feel like dying.

We headed to our hotel. He nap while I go soak myself in the bathtub. Haha. Re-freshen up, changed and we go have dinner! Of course, camwhore is a must since we nothing has been dirty or ugly after preparation right? Hahahaha

We tried exploring further places than yesterday and we actually saw another malls again! Plus the area that is further have tons of massage, spa & clothes! Haha. I saw a sarong dress over there and it was love at first sight but it was too pricey! About $30 SGD! Omgggg. But we decided to go have dinner first since it was like 7plus already but then we just couldn't decide what to eat! Lol. So after a long decision, we settled our dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, Bali.

They have indoor & outdoor tables. But of course we would choose the outdoors since we don't smoke. Haha

Best of the night. Soup is thick & creamy. I don't usually eat celery but I'm fine with this cause its extremely soft and the soup covered the celery taste! Thumps up for this!

Fish is dry & tasteless and I don't think its fresh. Everything must mix with the sauce then it taste better.

A birthday event that they celebrate for every customer

My boy told me this is 1 of the highest ratings restaurant he saw online. But I think its just so so? 1 thing about seafood is they must served it fresh. Not fresh, then alot of points will be deducted. Other than the food, I think the service are great!

Wanted to get drinks & ice creams from a nearby convenience store and saw this! Decided to try this since I didn't saw it at SG. But then taste is just chocolate! Nothing special. Haha

And so, that ends our 2nd day.

Bali Day 1, 14/02/2014

This was a trip celebrating for our 2 years anniversary & also Valentine's Day. Hehe. We actually planned to go BKK but decided not to cause of the riot. But then I planned not to go for this trip but just celebrate in SG since we both are jobless! But then he ended up go and booked it. Sigh. But I'm still really thankful for him to always bring me go places I don't think I can go.

I'm taking Tiger Airways and my flight's time is 12.25pm. So we planned to wake up at 7.30am to go have breakfast at my house area de market. But I was excited till I couldn't sleep the previous night. Ended up sleeping around 5plus going 6am.

We ended up overslept and woke up at 10am!!!! Omgggg. I don't even feel my alarm clock ringing. We had to rush to prepare and faster double check of our things. But I guess luck just doesn't falls on our side. We couldn't get a cab almost an hour! Even calling taxi's company also no use. Sigh sigh sigh. So by the time we reached the airport, its already 12pm! We had to rush and everything. By the time we were on the plane, we definitely felt more relax since "Hey! We didn't missed the plane." Lol.

After 2hrs plus, we finally landed in Bali, Depensar! My boy keep saying that 4 years ago, the airport wasn't this pretty as I think this is the newly built airport. We took a taxi to our hotel which is really near the airport. Just 10mins drive and the taxi fare charge us 100,000rp. Which is around 11SGD. Quite expensive. Lol.

Throughout our 3 nights, we will be staying over at Sun Island Kuta Hotel! I had no idea what kind of room I'll be staying over at. The only thing I know is I do not have a private pool. Lol. When we reached the hotel, the bell boy opened our door, took our luggage and even brought us to our room. The recept will give us cold face or hand towels & also a "Welcome" drink. Haha. I'm pretty happy with the service indeed.

We did not plan to go where and where. Just had some ideas that what we wanna over at bali. Because the taxi driver & hotel charges are pretty expensive. So we decided to just go over the tour agencies.

So, when I got to my room. I'm like "Omg! So nice & pretty! And also COMFYYYY!" Hahahahah.

I loveeeee hotel beds. They always makes it soooo comfy that I just wants to nua all the time. Haha. But I think the peacock actually quite scary in the night. Lol

We unpacked our luggage and re-freshen up and head & explore around since we arrived in the late afternoon where not much of activities can be done.

We headed off to Lippo Mall since we did pass by while we're on the cab. And according to the driver, it is a newly open mall. So not all the shops are opened. There's alot of 1 For 1 sales due to the Valentine's day. But sadly, its either nothing caught my eye or too expensive! Lol. We also saw a Hypermart which I'm sooo excited about it since its soooo big! But then when I walk around, I'm like "What the. So big but nothing much to walk one. So sian." And then left the mart after purchasing some needed things.

We walk back to our hotel and headed to explore the other side of the direction and which appears there's also another mall and also I found the Waterbom water park but I also never had a chance to go in. Lol. We decided to settle down for dinner since we only ate 1 curry puff throughout the day.

I couldn't resist the word "buffet" since the price is also cheap! So we decided to give it a go and I feel its really disappointing.

Food is pretty bad. Really bad. Only thing that is nice is the satay. Even the fried rice also abit tasteless. Its only yummy if its mixed with the Herbal BBQ sauce. We had like 3 plates each only and left the place liao. And its not even filling!

Because we're still not full. We head over to a Thai restaurant to have another round of food. When we got in and looked at the menu, the food also nothing much. Another disappointment. But had no choice to order something since we already got in.

It doesn't taste that bad. Not spicy at all despite the color.

Bought some stuffs while on the way back. I saw exactly the same dress & romper while I was at Discovery Shopping Mall Bali and it cost me more than SGD 20. But at the shop, I bought all less than SGD 20 lor! Pretty proud of myself.

Overall, food is pretty disappointing. But I decided to forgive for the sake of my bargain dress. Lol. And so that ends the first day (:
